So Elliott is 12 now and according to my tradition, there are baked goods for both the day and party which will be Saturday. I made chocolate cupcakes with chocolate mousse stuffing and chocolate ganache on top. Oh, and I made them double sized. They were gooood.
Aaah, yes. I always consider it to be a great birthday when I get to make an awesome confection. I imagine Elliott thought they were yummy too. But that's neither here nor there. Now I have to come up with something kick-ass for his party on Saturday. No problem. As my very youthful co-worker Anik always says "it's all good". And it is.
