Now I know what you whiteys go through. I got myself a long lasting souvenir from my marathon on Sunday. It's funny what over 7 hours in the beating sun will do to your skin, Black or not. Even my natural spf 15 pretty much ran out after about kilometre 5. Oh well. To be honest I kinda like it. Is that weird of me? After never having a sunburn in my 40 years of life and watching friends, family and even my very own children go through it I can finally sympathise. Even though it's really not too bad. Only in one place and it only feels.... well, I can feel it touching things. How long will it last? Will I be prone to burns in that spot again? Aaaah, yes. The ache makes me feel alive.
