Welcome to February. The first thing you are supposed to say on the first of any month is "rabbit". I don't know why. Luck or something? Look, when the thing you are supposed to do for luck is this easy like "rabbit" or knocking on wood, why wouldn't you do it? Moving on...
Today in school we were doing the calendar. Stickler that I am, I pronounced February the way it is spelled. "Feb-ru-ary". So am I in the wrong? Will my 3 year olds sound weird saying it that way or should I let it slide, letting them say "Feb-u-ary?"
Also, I'm aware that there's a "D" in Wednesday. I sometimes say it but more often than not, I don't. I'm a freak that way.
